Lisa Holloway, BSN, RN, CPSN
Clinical Director of Plastic Surgery, Ardmore
A Certified Plastic Surgery Nurse, Lisa Holloway has worked with Dr. Bucky since 1996. She has an extensive and unique relationship with our practice. Lisa first met Dr. Bucky as a patient. After developing a relationship of trust with Dr. Bucky and our staff, Lisa felt personally invested in our practice. Already a nurse, she became eager to be a part of our practice.
Lisa works very closely with our breast cancer patients. “I spend a lot of time with these women. As a nurse, I want to nurture.” In addition, Lisa prepares cosmetic and reconstructive patients for surgery. She worked as a cardiac nurse before joining Dr. Bucky’s practice and is comfortable providing careful safety measures to a patient’s program.
A graduate of the University of Virginia, Lisa is a certified nurse-injector with an extremely active Botox and facial filler practice. She is regionally recognized as a leader in Botox and Dermal Fillers. “Developing a patient’s trust during Botox injections is a significant responsibility; if the appropriate assessment and time is taken, it is a pleasant experience for both the patient and me. Small changes for many people translate to big changes in how they feel about their appearance.”
One of the most rewarding aspects of Lisa’s work is the close relationships she develops with our patients. She recalls, “Sometimes a patient will call and say, ‘Hi Lisa, it’s me!’ I have to giggle. That says to me that I’ve done my job—I’ve connected with the patients. We’re so comfortable, like friends and family.”

Valerie Daily, BSN, RN
Director of Clinical Nursing
Valerie Daily has been working with Dr. Bucky as a registered nurse since 2006, caring for our patients throughout their surgical experience. Val meets with you during your consultation to discuss your medical history and help explain the procedure you are considering. Her thorough knowledge of medical procedures—combined with her kind and calm manner—make her an excellent point-person. “It’s important to me that when patients leave our office, their questions are answered.”
Valerie understands plastic surgery from the patient’s perspective, while ensuring the highest quality of nursing care. Because she understands the emotions and concerns that often accompany surgery, Valerie helps put our patients at ease as they prepare for their surgical procedure. She sees patients during their pre-op appointment and calls them the day after surgery. Patients meet with her again during their post-op appointment. “Recovery is very individualized; Dr. Bucky and our nursing staff devote special attention to making sure each patient’s post-op healing proceeds smoothly.” She notes the enjoyment she derives from seeing plastic surgery improve not only a patient’s appearance, but their self-esteem as well.
Before joining Dr. Bucky’s practice, Valerie worked as a cardiac nurse. She has been a registered nurse since 1992 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Drexel University in Philadelphia. Over the years, Valerie has become an expert nurse injector. Trained by Dr. Bucky and other leaders, she has a gentle touch and great aesthetic sense.
Val sees patients in both our Washington Square and suburban Ardmore locations.
Michele Petrillo, BSN, RN
Nurse Injector
Michele Petrillo joined Dr. Bucky in 2008 as a nurse injector. She brings over 30 years of nursing experience and expertise to our surgical practice. Michele has worked with Dr. Bucky and injectors from around the world in an effort to “learn from the best.” She has developed her own unique injection techniques. Michele has an active injectable practice and has earned the respect of physicians and colleagues in her field. “What I enjoy most about working with Dr. Bucky and our staff is our team commitment to providing excellent patient care in a relaxed and professional environment. One of the benefits of watching my practice grow is building relationships with my patients. There is a comfortable trust between us.”
Michele received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Villanova University. While she has practiced in a variety of clinical settings for the past seven years, she has found Facial Aesthetics to be her “niche” and finds it both challenging and rewarding.
Michele sees patients for Botox and Fillers in Ardmore on Monday and Tuesday.
Kim Ragone, BSN, RN
Clinical Nurse & Clinical Director of Skincare and Injectable Services
Kim Ragone has worked with Dr. Bucky since 2000. Kimmi is the Director of Skin Care and Injectable Services, as well as being a clinical nurse. Her extensive plastic surgery experience provided her with the foundation to become a superb nurse and nurse injector. She led Dr. Bucky’s OR team in caring for cosmetic and reconstructive patients during their surgical experience.
Kim transitioned from the operating room to the office setting and became a clinical aesthetician. She treated patients with a wide variety of techniques including microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and laser services. Armed with expertise in the entire spectrum of plastic surgery, she became certified as a clinical nurse injector for Botox and dermal fillers. Kim’s plastic surgery and skin care education—combined with her ‘aesthetic eye’ and her soft touch— have made her ideally suited to be an excellent injector. Kimmi has developed advanced techniques under the guidance of Dr. Bucky and other leaders in the field.
In addition, her background with both surgical and non-surgical procedures provides the basis for expert consultations. Over the last two years, Kim taught other nurses and physicians the art and science of clinical injection techniques. She annually instructs the residents at the University of Pennsylvania on the principles and technique of Botox and filler injections. Kim was recently an invited lecturer at the Society of Plastic Surgery Skin Care Specialists on Botox and fillers.

Joanna Pinkerton
Clinical Aesthetician
Joanna Pinkerton is a Clinical Aesthetician with over 11 years experience in facial aesthetics. After working in dermatology for several years, Joanna made the exciting decision to switch to Plastic Surgery. Wanting to work for the best, her career path leads her to the practice of Dr. Bucky. “I feel that the skincare and laser treatments offered within our surgical practice encompass everything the aesthetic world has to offer. The medical aesthetic field is constantly changing and improving. Working with Dr. Bucky, I have the opportunity to provide our patients with cutting-edge technologies to help them achieve their facial rejuvenation goals.”
Joanna makes it a priority to understand the individualized needs of every patient she treats and is highly dedicated to the best possible care of our patients. “I take a very creative approach to skincare, customizing each treatment plan to attain optimal results. It’s amazing to see my patients self-esteem improve as the health of their skin is improved! I find it very rewarding to be a part of this process.”
Joanna was recently featured in Society for Plastic Surgery Skincare Specialists for her contribution on skincare for cancer patients. She has developed a treatment protocol that we currently use to help improve our patient’s skin while they are going through chemotherapy and radiation.

Renee Christoph
Clinical Aesthetician
Renee joined our surgical practice in 2009 as a clinical aesthetician with over 9 years of experience in medical aesthetics. Renee has a passion for skincare and is committed to making our patients look and feel their best. Extensively trained in skin care and laser services, she is dedicated to helping our skincare patients achieve optimal results.
Renee works closely with our patients and with Dr. Bucky both before and after their surgical procedures. “I strongly believe that the skincare treatments and products that we provide to our surgical patients as part of their comprehensive care plan make such a tremendous impact in how good their skin looks both before and after their procedures. I love when patients look in the mirror and can’t believe how fantastic they look.”
Renee enjoys listening to her patients’ concerns regarding their appearance and then mapping out an individualized treatment plan to help them achieve their personal rejuvenation goals. “My ultimate goal is for my patients to feel great about their skin—with or without makeup.”
Renee Grieco
Practice Coordinator – Ardmore
Renee Grieco is our Practice Coordinator in Ardmore. She is a licensed aesthetician and previously served as the director of a Medical Spa for a regional plastic surgery center. Renee has extensive clinical experience and she has consulted a wide range of patients on selecting appropriate cosmetic treatments.
Renee takes great pride in her career as an aesthetic professional and passionately believes that patient care and consideration is paramount.

Sheri Swan
Practice Coordinator
Practice Coordinator Sheri Swan has been part of Dr. Bucky’s team since 2004. She oversees the Philadelphia office’s schedule and manages the patient flow of the practice.
Sheri’s energetic phone voice and her warm smile make patients feel welcome. “I help educate patients about Dr. Bucky and the services he offers,” she explains. “Helping patients and making them feel comfortable is very rewarding to me.”
She also speaks with patients about their personal goals for enhancing their appearance. “I listen and help patients find the best avenue for achieving their desired outcome,” Sheri explains.
Sheri enjoys being part of Dr. Bucky’s team. “It’s a family feeling,” she says, “a special connection that comes from working together to give patients the best experience possible.”
“It’s wonderful to see the transformation in a patient—both physical and emotional,” she says. “They feel more confident and comfortable, and that makes such a positive experience for all of us.”
Sheri has a diverse background in customer service, sales, and management.
Our Operating Room Staff
Bill Hoover
Surgical Scrub Technician and Board Certified Surgical First Assistant
Surgical technician Bill Hoover has been working with Dr. Bucky on plastic and reconstructive surgery procedures since 1996. He trained at the National Institute of First Assistants and is board certified by the American Board of Surgical Assistants.
It’s Bill’s job to prepare the surgical equipment and assist Dr. Bucky in the operating room. Bill hands the appropriate instruments to Dr. Bucky. “Very few procedures can be done by a surgeon standing on his own,” he explains. “I work under Dr. Bucky’s direct guidance to coordinate and assist with preparing so the cases go smoothly.
“We have been working together in the OR for the last 12 years,” says Bill. “By preparing everything for the case, we can concentrate fully on the best results for every patient.” Bill finds working with Dr. Bucky very satisfying. “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,” he says. “Our goal is to help you achieve your vision of beauty. Excellent teamwork in the operating room provides the greatest safety and best outcomes.”
