EndyMed^™ Skin Tightening Treatment

Over time, the combination of several lifestyle and environmental factors can have a negative effect on our skin’s elasticity, often leading to the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin on various regions of the face and body. While many people believe only surgical intervention can tighten and smooth the skin for a rejuvenated look, there are a number of non-surgical techniques that can help significantly improve skin elasticity without incisions, surgery, and/or extensive recovery.

At our practice, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Louis P. Bucky and our team of expertly-trained aestheticians offer non-surgical, non-invasive EndyMed^™ skin tightening for the face and body. Utilizing clinically-proven 3DEEP^™ RF technology, this innovative treatment can help smooth wrinkles and tighten skin by stimulating new collagen production deep within dermal and subdermal layers of the skin. As an added benefit, some patients also experience subtle contouring in and/or around the targeted region. Ultimately, EndyMed^™ treatments can help create firmer, more youthful-looking skin with minimal discomfort and little to no downtime.

EndyMed^™ Procedure

EndyMed^™ treatments can be used to tighten and smooth skin on areas such as the face, lower jawline, neck, chest, arms, abdomen, buttocks, and knees. During the procedure, temperature-controlled radiofrequency energy is delivered into dermal and subdermal skin layers of the targeted treatment region(s) via a special handheld device. Leaving the skin’s surface unharmed, this heated RF energy immediately works to stimulate natural collagen growth, which gradually smooths and firms the skin as new collagen continues to be produced. Depending on the number of problem areas being addressed, each EndyMed^™ treatment typically takes about one to two hours to complete, and most patients experience little to no discomfort.

Recovery and Results

Following skin tightening with EndyMed^™, some minor redness in the targeted region is possible, though this side-effect should dissipate relatively quickly and can often be covered with makeup if necessary. As a non-invasive procedure, most patients are able to resume their normal daily activities soon—if not immediately—after treatment. Skin texture, tone, and elasticity tend to gradually improve as new collagen continues to develop over time. For most individuals, a series of approximately six treatments spaced one to two weeks apart is typically recommended to achieve optimal outcomes.
